Bob Bartman                                                  Owner                                                                                                                                                       Bob Bartman is a native of Ottawa, IL, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Illinois.  He is also an associate member of the American Society of Landscape Architects.  Bob has recently returned to the Ottawa area after having attained professional design experience at a national award-winning design firm in Chicago, IL.  

Bob’s professional knowledge and experience, combined with his desire to return to his roots, provides a unique opportunity to provide his community with high-quality landscape services with a personal touch.  Bob’s sincerity and devotion to his career is his promise to excel in customer service.  

Bob's childhood passion for the game of golf ultimately persuaded him to attend the Landscape Architecture program at the University of Illinois with the intention to pursue golf course design.  Spending his summers working on landscape construction crews and eventually participating in a fifteen-month internship at a Chicago based Landscape Architecture consulting firm opened his eyes to his true passion; working closely with people to create outdoor environments that they can enjoy.

His career is based on meeting great people, listening to their ideas, working hard to create their dreams, and the reward of seeing a finished project enjoyed by many.

OUR BUSINESS

Bartman Design & Landscape was established in October of 2009. Bob recognized the need for an affordable landscape design, construction, and maintenance company in the Ottawa area.  Bob's Landscape Architecture degree is unique for the area and helps him to provide exceptional landscape design and construction services that may not otherwise be available without heading toward the suburbs.

We pride our business on customer service and professionalism.  We feel that these qualities should be standard with any company but realize that may not always be the case.  The affordability of our services does not compromise the quality in which we perform.  We work hard to provide you the quality you expect while staying within your budget.
